Successful writers know they are compelled to express their vision, understand that writing is challenging, and are willing to learn both how to unearth their vision and how to write about it well.


A writer, speaker, and book mentor, Ginger Moran’s areas of expertise are in nonfiction and fiction writing and editing. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from the University of Houston. She taught at Spring Hill College, Fisk University, and U.Va. She lives in Maryland with her dog and cat and close to her grown sons. Her latest novel, American Queen, is a literary mystery that takes place in D.C. It came out in the fall of 2020. Currently she works with aspiring writers who want to write good books.
