Facilitating productive conversations with your stakeholders is often challenging in the best of circumstances. Now as many in the workforce are transitioning back into the workplace, it has become an art. Hybrid meetings – where some stakeholders participate in person and others join remotely – is predicted to become the new norm. This workshop will address how to effectively run meetings in these dual work environments.


Kate Vendemio is a workplace learning consultant, small business owner, and certified Project Management Professional. For over 15 years she has provided strategic guidance on training programs and curriculum design for the federal government, private sector, nonprofits and associations. Kate is Founder and CEO of Mt. Vernon Consulting, a woman-owned consulting firm that creates customized training for businesses to help employees do their jobs effectively. Kate has a master’s certificate in Project Management from George Washington University School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from John Carroll University.

Outside of work (and not during a pandemic) Kate is working toward the goal of visiting all 50 states and the home country of each of her ancestors. She also enjoys working in her vegetable garden and talking ad nauseum about her crop yields to anyone patient enough to listen.
