Lynda Ellis
Known as a 'change agent' with a passion for service, Lynda Ellis is the President/CEO and owner of Capitol Concierge, Inc. a 23 year old company and the nation’s largest provider of contract concierge services for commercial office properties, upscale apartment and condominiums, shopping malls and private corporations. Lynda refers to herself as a serial entrepreneur. Capitol Concierge is Lynda’s third company, the latest of which she and her two partners sold to a VIACOM company. She believes that being a successful entrepreneur and leader, one must give back to the community and therefore gives hours of her time to coach and mentor those who want to be successful in business and chairs several industry committees and sits on several boards to continue giving back to the community.
Lynda was named Outstanding Young Woman in America, awarded the Presidential Appreciation Award by the American Red Cross, awarded the 2009 Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business, the 2009 Brava! Women Business Achievement Award and honored by Girls, Inc as a strong role model for girls. Her company earned membership in the coveted INC Magazine’s 5000 list of fastest growing companies in 2009 and was recently named a finalist in the 2010 Helios HR Apollo.
